I got him to change the RF output of the SKY box and now it is all working, of course he then had to retune his TV’s to the new Analogue output he set the SKY box to."

Sounds like the set up at your mum's is causing the retune fails. Please see this note from Matt (he followed suggestions from Biggles) which might help as well. And if hubby would like some help with updating the set-up, he can post to that discussion as well (hit Reply to This), but he might need to draw everyone a diagram of the installation so it's easier for them to offer him some advice. Thanks again.
