TV3 de-regionalisation

From Monday 4 July, MediaWorks stopped broadcasting regional versions of TV3.

This change will remove transmission complexity on satellite and improve the bit rate and video quality of TV3 programmes for satellite viewers.

Most approved devices should update automatically, some TVs and receivers should be left in STAND BY mode overnight in order to complete this automatic update.

LOST TV3?

If for some reason you've lost TV3, here're a few pointers on getting it back.

Using a Satellite Dish?

If you're using a satellite dish to pick up TV signal, please see here for instructions from manufacturers.

Do you have an unapproved receiver?

Unapproved receivers will need an update or a channel re-allocation.

If you have an unapproved receiver (one that does not carry the Freeview logo), please contact the supplier or distributor for instructions to restore TV3.  Alternatively, post a query on the forum to see if someone here can help you out!
