Kordia TV available in new areas!

From Tuesday 23 June 2020, Kordia TV, Freeview channel 200, will be available via UHF in Whangarei, Rotorua, Taupo, Gisborne, Whanganui, Masterton & Wairarapa, Nelson & Tasman, South Canterbury and Invercargill.

Kordia TV is already available via satellite and via UHF in other coverage areas throughout New Zealand.  This extension into new areas will allow everyone in New Zealand to tune in and enjoy documentaries, coverage of NZ events, homegrown TV and Juice TV.  Check out the Kordia TV schedule here.

Changes are being made by the transmission provider to add Kordia TV to the new areas.  As part of this, the following channels will move to new transmission frequencies on Tuesday 23 June:

  • Wairarapa TV, channel 41 in Wairarapa (only available via UHF in Wairarapa)
  • Southern Television, channel 39 in Invercargill (only available via UHF in Dunedin & Invercargill)

While most TVs and boxes with Freeview will automatically update, some will require user permission to update, and some may need to be retuned to pick up those channels after the move.  Find out what you need to do here.
