Freeview IPTV Service?

Is there any plans for freeview to start an IPTV service in the near future?  IPTV is a great way to get your products out to a lot of people and it seems to be the way ahead as far as broadcasting goes.  Personally i'd love to see a freeview IPTV service.  I know what etv offer live streams of freeview channels but i can't sign up to them as you need to be studying to receive access.

Please freeview nz, Start an IPTV service :)

    So any word on when tv 1 & 2 Will start live streaming via the website? Mid 2017 now and still not happening

    TVNZ 1 and 2 went live with HLS this week, available from https://www.tvnz.co.nz/livetv
