Problem with the TVNZ app in Freeview OnDemand on my Samsung TV

Hi there, every so often when I open up the TVNZ app to watch 1 News, it does not show the latest episode, only the previous nights' episode. This is not because I'm looking too early, because I watch 1 news every night at the same time, 8.30pm. When I exit the TVNZ app and go back in, it still fails to show the latest episode. When I log out of the TVNZ app and re-log-in, it still doesn't appear. When I log into the app on my laptop, the episode does appear there. My TV is a Samsung Series 7 UA55MU7000SXNZ. What is going on and how can I rectify this? Many thanks.
