Devices covered in this post: Satview or any receiver that shows the following similar display by pressing the menu button.

Taken from a Sat view D560:

Step 1
On your remote press Menu and then using the arrow keys navigate to the Channel Search menu, (as seen above)

select Dish Setup

Step 2
On your remote press the GOTO Button (to Select Optus D1)

On the next screen Press the RED BUTTON (Add)

Step 3
A box will pop up which will say Add

The Frequency needs to be: 12519
(You can enter this on your remote and make sure that you use the arrow keys to highlight Frequency) 

The Symbol needs to be: 22500
(You can enter this on your remote and make sure that you use the arrow keys to highlight Symbol) 

Polarity: H

Press OK

Step 4
Press OK on your remote so that the red tick appears next to 12519 H 22500

Step 5
Press the BLUE on your remote, a box will pop up 

1.ensure that Scan mode is set to Default
2.ensure that Crypted is set to FTA Channel

3. ensure that Service Type is set to ALL

Then Press OK 

Channel will then be scanned on the right frequency and you can now watch.

DONE!
