Hi all,

Periodically I have a problem (say every 6 months or so) with my DishTV Satbox s7090PVR where it turns off and becomes unresponsive to button pushes or the remote.

The standby "clock" turns off and the only light showing is the power LED-- showing in red.

I've tried the standard cold boot method of unplugging from the wall and plugging it back in, but with no luck.  I can hear the hard drive start to spin but there is no other response besides the LED showing red.  Note that there is nothing on-screen to work with- the device is unresponsive.

In past experiences it will eventually start to work again some time later, but Sherlock's on tonight and I'd like to catch it. :)

Any guesses as to how to fix it?
