Since yesterday every time I try to watch On Demand after watching live TV, I have to sign in! It never used to happen and I notice that the software was updated yesterday - could that have changed something? It is very annoying having to sign in all the time!! Thanks.

We've been experiencing this ever since the upgrade as well. For all the hype about it I can't see any improvements over the previous software on our Aerial box T2100. We're having to log in every time we want to use it: 185 button pushes on the remote control each time!
They've got rid of the 7 day catch up feature that was the selling point when Freeview was launched. Programs seem to be missing from the categories so you have to search more often and it seems to be slower loading things. I believe in supporting free to air TV but the logging in to the On Demand apps every time is really making Netflix look better.

Is there a "stay logged in" setting anywhere? I used to recommend the Freeview/On demand services all the time but we've stopped using it at all now.

just got this... EMAIL..

Thanks for getting in touch!
FreeviewPlus have recently released a large update that combined all 3 OnDemand services into one app, this app requires you to create a Freeview account (this is separate to your TVNZ OnDemand account).
You can register for your Freeview account with the same email address you use for your TVNZ login; however your TVNZ account is not linked to your Freeview one (we don't have the right to share your user info with one another).
If you continue to have issues, don't hesitate to get back in touch with us or with Freeview!
You can get in touch with Freeview here: http://www.freeviewnz.tv/support/contact-us/
Sorry for the inconvenience!

Cheers,

Priscilla

ok I pressed forgot password, created a new one using my laptop. Then I turned off the freeview unit, unplugged from the wall, waited 10 seconds, plugged it back in, entered my new password and hey presto, working
