Can't find any way in to do this. Win TV scans for channels. I've erased database and started again. It says it finds PRIME frequency 594 SID:1404 (which means nothing to me) but when I click on the channel nothing shows.

ng to do is hook up the sat box to the TV, and also the DVD player. When I had it set up in the city (uhf aerial) I had it going through a different Panasonic recorder and a separate DVD player and freeview (uhf). Now that Im in the country I have to go through Satellite, its doing my head in, The first drawing is the back of the old TV (I have an old TV for the boarders). The next photo is a photo of the back of the TV, not very clear sorry. The next photo is the Panasonic device (this does NOT have to be part of the set up unless it has to be). Next photos are the back of the sat box. Gosh I hope this makes sense, I hugely appreciate your knowledge, thanks again..Leas…
r related such as strong winds, snow fall and rain. A lot of the reported problems we receive about reception are usually linked to how the set up has been done at the viewers home.
There is no issues reported in Rotorua overnight, any issues that are logged with the Transmission Provider are published on the Network Status Page: http://freeviewforum.co.nz/page/network-status
I would recommend; looking at your aerial and see if it has become loose or if there are prongs or cables that need attention, usually a quick screw in place should fix the problem and your reception should be rectified, however a installer in your local area would be able to fix this as well as ensure the reception is consistent for future.

I think the A2 accommodates the drifting LO on the old sky LNBs. Its got to be either a faulty LNB or faulty box. Have to tried a power reset on the A2? I would be ringing DishTV.

e as standard.
From day one there was good reception of all channels except the Group 1 (TV1, TV2, Maori TV etc)... nothing at all from those. After much Googling and reading threads from a number of forums including this one I concluded that the LNB skew was askew so this morning I tweaked it one way and then the other until I now have good reception of all Freeview channels.
The question is, can I buy a reasonably priced device to set up the LNB properly or can I do it with my Ultraplus Satellite finder, is it just a case of moving it to obtain the best signal strength and quality or is there a more scientific method?
Thanks for your help
Mike

that the signal moves and that is why I keep losing these channels.
I have a Hills Satellite Dish ( which should work fine as it did with my old freeview box.
I live in the south Island in Sothland Gore.
Have A2 Superbox.
I was told at the store that they can't send it back to you as it worked perfectly fine for them, I feel ripped off that I now have a Freeview Box I can't use.
I went back to my old box satBox Ultra s7090PVR
If I need a new Satillite Dish what will that cost.
If you have any suggestions I would be happy to hear them.…

era.If you turn the Receiver OFF, you're likely to receive the prompt again when you turn the Receiver back ON. There's no Setting that will prevent the prompt, or turn it OFF.
You'd need a suitable Receiver, below is a list of the different Models we've had over the years that are capable of tuning Al Jazeera.
No longer Manufactured: S7090PVR, S8200, S8100, S8300, SNT7070, SNT7070HbbTV, A2, S7030PVR, S9040DVD, S7070rHDCurrent Models: SAT1, A7070, S7070PVR.

hat's what I've been testing on, gives 90-100% signal strength but 50-60% quality. I tried again today with a different cable and got 62% quality on TV1 (and +1), they were watchable, but only got stuttery TV2 and no other channels.
There are a few wall sockets that are like what you get on the back of a satellite box (2nd photo), but slightly larger, so the Belling-Lee to F Type (? screws on, single sharp wire in the middle) adapter doesn't fit. There are also some F Type cables poking out of the floor and walls, I get no signal at all from them, I assume they are connected to the satellite dish.I did find a UHF\VHF Booster, it has 6 cables around it, all with F Type connector, it's not near any power and some of the connections look pretty dodgy so I didn't try to use it, the cable labelled "out" goes no where. Maybe the landlord or a previous tenant used it.…
