I have an older DishTV freeview box, model S7010PVR.   Will it update automatically or will I have to do something to receive, it please?

If you are not seeing channel 14 now you will have to retune the Dish box. They are currently showing a promotion card on that channel.

Hi Lorna

Manually Add TVNZ Games extra should work with both Revision 1 & Revision 2 of the S7010PVR.

Press the Menu Button to bring up the main Menu
Press the Left Arrow until the Installation Menu is displayed then press OK
Select TP Manager and press OK
Press the Down Arrow and select 12483
Press the Blue Button (To Scan)
Press the Right Arrow to select Free Only and press OK

You will need to organise your channels into the correct order after scanning.

Thank you Paul.  I still had the instructions from last time I had to do a manual scan but it didn't work. I see that the number at Step 4 has changed.  Each time a manual scan is required it seems I will have to contact this forum to find out what the correct number is.

All is going well now, and I've re-arranged the channel order to suit myself.

Does that mean you have the new channel ?

The S7010PVR doesn't find new channels automatically you will always have to do a manual scan to find new channels.

To manually Add TVNZ 1 / TVNZ 2 / Maori Television / TVNZ 1 +1 / TVNZ 2 +1 / TVNZ DUKE / TVNZ Games Extra with both Revision 1 & Revision 2 of the S7010PVR.

Press the Menu Button to bring up the main Menu
Press the Left Arrow until the Installation Menu is displayed then press OK
Select TP Manager and press OK
Press the Down Arrow and select 12483
Press the Blue Button (To Scan)
Press the Right Arrow to select Free Only and press OK

To manually Add THREE / Bravo/ ThreePlus1 / Choice TV / Te Reo / HGTV / Shine TV / Firstlight / Hope Channel / Parliament TV with both Revision 1 & Revision 2 of the S7010PVR.

Press the Menu Button to bring up the main Menu
Press the Left Arrow until the Installation Menu is displayed then press OK
Select TP Manager and press OK
Press the Down Arrow and select 12456
Press the Blue Button (To Scan)
Press the Right Arrow to select Free Only and press OK

To manually Add Bravo Plus1/ Prime / Th Edge TV/ Prime PLUS  1 with both Revision 1 & Revision 2 of the S7010PVR.

Press the Menu Button to bring up the main Menu
Press the Left Arrow until the Installation Menu is displayed then press OK
Select TP Manager and press OK
Press the Down Arrow and select 12519
Press the Blue Button (To Scan)
Press the Right Arrow to select Free Only and press OK

You will need to organise your channels into the correct order after scanning.

Hi Paul

Yes, I have all the channels thank you.   When I said 'it didn't work' I meant that I had tried to do a manual scan  before contacting you, which didn't give me the games channel.   I had followed a set of previous instructions you sent and used the number 12456 but that  didn't give me the games channel.  It removed the Shopping Channel, which I could never receive anyway, and replaced it wil PR 1915 which is blank.  Then when I sent my query a couple of days ago, your instructions were the same as last time except the number I had to select had changed to 12483.

I see there is also a number 12519.  Does that mean each time I have to do a manual scan I should go through the process with all three numbers?  I have saved your latest instructions so hopefully I will be able to keep all channels up to date as necessary.

You also sent a link with the correct order, but I have mine sorted so that the channels I mostly watch are ordered 1 - 7 and the others fill the remaining positions. in random order.  Is there any reason I should not have them sorted in that way?

Thank you for your patience and help.  It is much appreciated.

Regards

Lorna
