Hi All

We just got a Dish TV A2 recorder, I am unable to record single episodes or series link. Last night I had a program scheduled to be recorded, but during program there was no sign of it recording. When I look at the guide the selected program has a red dot to indicate recording, but when i go to the recording manager to view the program it's not there, it just says it scheduled to be recorded. I also found I wasn't able to pause the program eventhough it's supposed to be live…

Also, is the box linked to the on demand app? Last week there was a program i was trying to record but the box wasn't recording it and it also wasn't available on the on demand app until much later in the evening.
Samsung Smart TV - model no.
Can someone tell me how to receive free view? We have the smart hub working so can use web based streaming like netflix, you tube etc but with the satellite ariel plugged in the 'broadcasting' set up is still not available. How can I tune the channels? We don't subscribe to sky but presumably the satellite ariel will work?

Thanks

Is there any plans for freeview to start an IPTV service in the near future? IPTV is a great way to get your products out to a lot of people and it seems to be the way ahead as far as broadcasting goes. Personally i'd love to see a freeview IPTV service. I know what etv offer live streams of freeview channels but i can't sign up to them as you need to be studying to receive access.

Hi Team,

I recently moved our tv from the lounge to the bedroom.

In the lounge I was using a dish tv set top box (dish tv satBox S7070r) with a ftype connector screwed into the set top box's LNB in socket. This generated digital tv to my samsung 55in led hd tv which had no freeview built in (a few years old). All worked fine, all channels, clear picture etc Yay....

In our bedroom we have the older style RF connection (non screw on) & cable for generating a signal. However because the set top box only has the screw on type connection (no RF input) i needed an adaptor to convert RF to F-type coaxial connection so I could screw it in to the back of the set top box.

When I did so I get no signal.

I have tested the set top box, the tv, the rf cable, signal & all is working. The adaptor seems to be where the signal is lost between the cable & tje set top box. I have also returned & swapped the adaptor incase it was faulty. Still no signal.

Any ideas Team?

Thanks in advance.

I just bought a new Samsung TV with dual UHF and Satellite tuner (model: UA48H6400) and can't get satellite tuner to pick up any freeview satellite stations. It keeps saying there is no signal.

I've borrowed a Sky box and it can pick up the signal fine using the same coax cable (with HDMI back to the TV).

I think the Satellite dish/LNB might be quite old so I changed the settings in the TV to 10750MHz on the Optus D1 satellite, ran the autotune again and it picked up a SkyTV…

I called Samsung support and the woman I spoke to said Samsung TV's only have UHF Freeview! agghh. The Samsung website even advertises the dual tuner being built for NZ.

Has anybody been able to get the satellite tuner to work on a Samsung TV?

Any ideas on what other settings I could change?

Hi there

I have never used this forum before so apologies if I have posted in the wrong place.

We have freeview built into our tv and receive most channels between One and C4 except for Prime, Choice tv etc onwards.

I have tried retuning and resetting my tv but the same channels just show up.

Does anyone else have this problem and if so how do I get the other channels?

Thanks
