We use Freeview on a Samsung Smart TV and all works well, except that when we are watching TV it will switch to a channel that is about to start recording. Does Freeview on a Smart TV allow you to record one channel and watch another? Or are we somehow limited to view the program being recorded?

Hope someone can clarify.

Thanks

Greetings

We changed our network password and now Freeview will not initiate on our TV via VU TV.

Netflix and Youtube are still working perfectly. However, Freeview is just a blank screen.

Rebooting TV and Vu TV makes no difference.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

As Freeview Forum members, we’d like invite you to take part in an exclusive trial of this new platform before it’s made available nationwide, so you get to test drive the New Freeview On Demand in your home, from the comfort of your couch and provide some feedback to help us further enhance the new platform, identify and smooth out any glitches in the system.

To take part, you’ll just need to:

1. Meet some set up requirements: because the pre-production environment isn't yet available nationwide, in order to access it, you'll need to either be in Auckland using a UHF aerial, or be elsewhere in NZ using a satellite dish; and of course, you'll need to be an existing user of the current Freeview On Demand or FreeviewPlus service.

2. be available to test the new Freeview On Demand over a couple nights in the coming week and provide feedback by 9pm Sunday 15th April.

Interested?

Just complete this form by midday Monday 9th April.

We’ll send you a note to let you know if you meet the set up requirements and if you do, we’ll include instructions on how to access the new platform and provide feedback.

Thanks in advance to anyone who's able and willing to take part in this trial, for helping to create a better and more stable new free streaming TV platform for all Freeviewers in New Zealand.

I keep getting this message pop up when I turn on my Television (Samsung UA70KU6000SXNZ).

The TV is connected to the internet, and I have disconnected and reconnected several times to ensure it is. YouTube works fine.

I assume is has something to do with Freeview+ / On Demand, rather than Samsung.

I can't close the box by selecting Close or Retry.. I can only close it by pressing Exit, and then the box pops up again after a minute or so.

Hi, I recently bought a 19" Veon TV, and I have tried to tune it many times (even manually) but it doesn't pick up any channels. I have tried using both my indoor and outdoor antennas. I live in Invercargill, if that helps.
Please Help me!!!

However, I'm caught in the middle of a breakdown in discussions between Bang & Olufsen HQ in Denmark and Freeview Plus NZ, whereby Freeview have "blacklisted" Bang & Olufsen.

Come on you guys, stop being so immature and get on with the job.

This behaviour seems typical to me with a lot of New Zealand businesses, making them difficult to deal with because of their bad attitude towards customers.

The Freeview Plus concept is a brilliant one and I'm pleased to see that we are an early adopter of the technology.

B&O need the information they request to get my Freeview Plus working and therefore I request that you please do so.

I'm posting this here in the absence of any other way to contact you people.

regards,
