We have a T1050PVR dish tv that we have been using to record programmes and play back with no problems for a couple of years. Now something has gone wrong so that when we press the library button we cannot access our recorded programmes. We could see the booking list and a list of images but not recorded items. Therefore we have no opportunity to play back. I have reset factory settings (which deleted our booking list, but that's no biggie) but still cannot acess our library.  Any ideas how to get it back?

does your library have various sub sections for imported files,music,recordings,pictures etc?

Please try turning the unit off at the wall, wait 20 seconds and then back on again as a first attempt.

We have also attached firmware which can be loaded onto your unit which may help the issue

Make a folder on your flashdrive/USB stick called dishtv_7167 then put the attached file inside that folder.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE ONTO YOUR UNIT:


1. Remove the power from T1050


2. Insert the USB drive into the T1050


3. Press and hold the INFO or OK button on the front panel of your T1050


4. Connect the power while still holding the INFO or OK button down


5. Continue holding the INFO or OK button until the front display says USB(about 4 secs)


6. After the front display says USB , release the INFO or OK button ,the unit will now update and should take a few mins . If the update takes less than 1 min then the unit has not been able to find the Firmware on your drive, please double check to see if the file is in the correct folder on your flash drive.


7. Remove USB flash drive once Update has finished and normal tv viewing has resumed.


8. After your unit starts back up give it about 5mins then power down for 10 secs and back on. Once it powers back on give it some time and try access your library.
