Hi, I managed to delete all channels while trying to get tv 3 now that it has changed. As a result all other channels no longer exist. I have tried autotune and other tricks but I am running out of ideas. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Within New Zealand there are two main satellite Dish types.

Most dishes............................. LNB Frequency 10750.
others …………………..............LNB Frequency 11300.

The Telray comes preset with all the current Freeview channels. It is also preset for use with a standard Dish and LNB. (ie LNB Frequency 10750MHz)

When you first commence using your Telray, if your Receiver shows no picture and no or Bad Signal, you may need to change your LNB frequency to match with your LNB installed on your Satellite dish.

To Change LNB type from 10750 to 11300 MHz.

1. On the remote press MENU, scroll right to Dish Setting and press OK.
2. On the Dish Setting menu scroll down to LNB Freq and change
it to 11300 by using the left arrow. Then check all the parameters are as shown:

Satellite 17 OptusD1 10750
LNB Power On
LNB Type Single
LNB Freq 11.300 22KHz OFF
DisEqc Switch OFF

3. Press EXIT, scroll left to YES and press OK, press EXIT twice more to return to the selected TV channel. You have finished.

Add a new Freeview Channel

1. Press MENU and then select AUTO SCAN
2. Press OK to select Satellite 17 then scroll right to SCAN
3. Use the UP key to select SEARCH TYPE and change it to FREE.
4. Return the cursor to SCAN and press OK.
5. Press EXIT three times, any new channels will then be displayed at the end of the channel list. All finished.

TELRAY TS-511 Add Prime Bravo Plus 1 & The Edge

Based on your LNB type being 10750 (see Dish settings to confirm)-otherwise if 11300, use Optus D1 11300 instead of Optus D1 10750 in the below instructions

MENU
“Installation’ should be highlighted.
Select ‘Manual Scan” Press OK
Scroll to select Satellite Optus D1 10750
Push Green button to add TP
Key in 12519
Arrow down and enter 22500 symbol rate
Signal bar and Quality Bar should be both green
Press Ok
Scan completed.
If you get a message saying ‘TP already exists’- see note (1) below
Prime might appear with no picture, but you should find it is on a channel number later so check all channels and then follow the below instructions if you wish delete unwanted channels.
You do not need to delete any channels, and you may wish to select the MOVE option and put all unwanted channels at the end of the channel selection.
Optional- to delete unwanted or Blank channels
You can then go to MENU
Choose Channels
Choose delete
Press OK on all channels with no picture or duplicated channels
Once all channels you want to delete are marked with an ‘X’, press MENU to delete
Exit to save

NOTE (1)
If you get the message “TP already exists”, then do the following:
Press Exit
Go to the second line Frequency (Highlighted in Yellow)
Press Yellow Button (Delete TP)
Press Menu
Scroll to Yes to delete and Press OK
Press OK
Press Menu
Press EXIT.
Then start the process again from the beginning
