Tv1 halts every few seconds, screen pixilates .

This is on a tv with a recordable box and on a tv with built in Freeview. All other channels work perfectly.

Freeview forum states that there was maintenance undertaken last night!!!

Anybody else having the same problems?

Hi Tony

Just to confirm, you have been having these issues since the maintenance last night? or has there been some issues before then?

I'm hunting down other related issues and cannot find other reported faults, do you know anyone in the area that are having related issues?

Cheers,
Josh

It's fixed!! Wouldn't it be nice if Freeview were proactive in admitting there was a problem, advising what was being done and offering some explanation!

Hasn't happened since Freeview took over and I doubt if it will happen in the future!

Ho hum!!

Yes it would, they should have a chat line

Hi Guys

I can confirm there was a fault officially, and this was resolved around 6.30 last night.

Thanks for raising the fault, Kordia informs us on any issues that happens on the network and usually updates on the Forum as soon as they can confirm information, We are looking into ways to help keep you updated with information we can access.

As per Tonys last reply, the transmission provider (Kordia or JDA) is responsible for providing the latest information including outages in their areas, We (freeview) do monitor any viewer reported faults at the same time scheduled outages are in place, and we monitor and we contact the TP if there are numerous reports of faults along the network that is not posted officially from their teams.

Thank you so much for your patience.

Cheers, Josh
