Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knew of any transmission/reception issues in the Te Aro/Mount Victoria area of Wellington?

Since the earthquake on Monday last week I have lost TV1,TV2 (and the +1 channels),and Prime.  TV1/TV2 both kept getting a No Signal message and a black screen when trying them, and Prime would show a picture for a couple of seconds before freezing and then going black, then showing the picture again, repeatedly.

I have checked my cabling, and have even done a new auto-tune which has actually dropped TV1, TV2 and Prime out of my channels listings now.

As I live in an apartment building I'm not able to check the aerial myself, but have also asked the building owners if there is any damage to the aerials - I'm still waiting for a reply so thought that I would check if there are any know transmission or reception issues still on-going in my area.

Thanks

No issues, best speak to your neighbours and the property manager.

Strange.  Seen a lot of discussions on the Freeview Facebook page about the UHF transmitter being damaged during the quake and then no updates from anyone that it was being fixed.  The network status page also appears to be outdated so it is hard to tell what is going on too.

I have checked with the property manager and they are not aware of any damage to the aerial as nobody else has raised issues with the reception.

I just replied but so far it hasn't shown up
