I have a s8200 satbox but when I go to the on demand app i have to log in but nothing happens when i enter details using my remote.

I do not have hdmi on my tv only connect using av cables

You will need to use the side keyboard to enter your details, the letters on the remote will not work, are you making sure that you are following on screen instructions and using the arrow keys to navigate to the buttons on screen?

what is the side keyboard and yes if I use the up down button on the remote the different boxes are highlighted

Where is the side keyboard and how do I access it.

Perhaps the one indicated on Pg29 of the manual?

I don't have an S8200 so I'm just guessing.

Page 29 does not mention anything about a keyboard it is all about program settings.

there is nothing in the entire manual that mentions setting up the tv on demand app or using a side keyboard let alone telling you where to find it.

The iManual is updated with every release and you can find this on Main Menu > Installation > User Manual
