Please help me to reset an old lady's Strong set box SRT3650. She bought it new a few years ago. She some how has lost all the channels. She said it was going fine one morning, then later in the day when she put it on it had a message saying no channels found. After no success of trying retuning them (even after a factory reset) blind scan etc., I took it to my house to try to do it in case it was her satellite dish but still can not retune it. Every thing appears to be alright, like get the menu etc. It searches but finds nothing. I'm not sure if all the settings are correct is what is wrong. Thanking you for any help. Kathy.

It may be her LNB on the dish. Although you tried it at your place did you check the LNB frequency matched yours?  You could try your STB at her location but do check the LNB is set correctly.

Hi Thanks for replying I am trying to retune it again right now. We have the same dish both are ex Sky ones with the single LNB and her set box did work at my house before

Sorry forgot to mention yes did get a signal and quality line on the bar at both places. I have at the moment got it doing a blind search on Optus D1. The box that is appearing at the moment has Transponder : 0 and the arrows at the bottom showing it is searching - The scan just finished and nothing came up on the transponder list. Which up at her place I did see about 15 come up on the list but even then still couldn't tune in any channels

What should the start and end frequency numbers be set at also the start and end symbol numbers Thanking you. Kathy.

12456, 12483, 12644, 12707 all H orizontal symbol rate 22500

and it could be that the strong box used an old tuner chip that ran at 90 deg so could have self destructed

Thanks for your reply. I had the right numbers, so maybe you are right it must have self destructed.
