Please help.  I am not a techno person.  I may have changed a setting on my hard-drive.  I used to be able to store 200-300 programs on my hard-drive, now I get barely 50.  Can someone tell me what setting I can change to increase the storage capacity of my hard-drive.

Many thanks

Hi Tanya

Please Factory Reset your S7090PVR, this will reset all settings and data from scratch and will correct any issues especially with the hard drive. You will loose any recorded shows and bookings unless you transfer the current shows to a portable hard drive,

I am unsure of any setting that limits the amount of programmes booked.

Thank you for your reply. I did the factory reset on Friday and it looks like it failed.  My problem is the size of the files/recorded programs being stored on my hard-drive.  On my old DVD player I used to set it to short  play or extended long play when recording.  Can I set this or change this setting on my hard-drive?  Where would it be?

There is no setting to adjust Long Play Mode etc....

Depending on how long each show is every time you book a show on the EPG, the hard drive saves an allocation so that there is room for the show to successfully record onto, As you book and the unit records, the hard drive will eventually become limited in the amount of bookings it can handle.

If you want to start from scratch, you may reformat the hard drive so that the slate is wiped cleaned as it was when you first purchased it. To do this go to Menu > Media Manager > Media Information
