Hi There. I have tuned in Four+1 and The edge Tv but am getting no Signal or No video audio. Gettting all other channels fine. Have tried factory reset etc as well. Have a Smart TV Samsung duel tuner just installed on bedroom and that picks up fine.

Freeview boxes are S7070 and S 7070r

Many Thanks

Hey Stacey

From what you have provided me with it looks like you can receive all channels fine on your Samsung Built in Satellite TV but are having issues watching Four Plus 1 and The Edge TV on your Dish TV boxes,

I need to know more about your Satellite set up, Is the TV sharing the same Satellite Dish with your Dish TV receivers?

Joshua

is all ok on sat boxes when the new tv is off at the wall?

and are all 3 sat devices coming from the same junction?

Hi Joshua

Yes all tvs are sharing the same satellite dish

I did ring Dishtv this morning and they suggested that I might need a new LNB on the actual dish. But I am receiving the channels fine on the new Samsung TV and the signal and quality strength is the same as through the dish TV receivers.

Any sugg

estions?

Hi Willis

Yes when I turn the samsung TV off at wall I still am unable to get the channels showing on other tv's.

They all run off the same satellite. Sorry not sure what you mean by Junction and where I would be able to check this out

Thanks

Try putting the transponders in manually Tp 12644 sr 22500 and then tuning or do a nit scan on tp 12483 if that doesn't work it could be an alignment issue on the dish.

What's a "nit" scan?

A network information table scan. One or more transponders will usually contain the NIT that a box interrogates to self assign other transponders.

Thanks Mike. I think Freeview only has the NIT  on 12483

Probably combination of less than ideal dish,4 way splitter at -8 instead of a -4 2 way splitter and channels via sky being 7-10 points below rest of freeview

Hi Stacey,

Can you let us know how you got on, Do you still have the same issue?
