You will be using your Zinwell Remote Control, If you don’t have your remote anymore, please contact Zinwell for a replacement, call 0800 946 9355 or email grahamw@xtra.co.nz
These instructions assume that you are familiar with changing the system settings of this receiver and the 3 channels above are *working correctly on your receiver with the scrolling message appearing every 30 minutes, advising that the channel is moving.
If you have since re-scanned, these instructions won’t work: Go to these Instructions instead.
*These instructions will still work after the old channel frequencies are turned off as long as you haven’t rescanned (and the channels were working ok on the 25thof May)
- On your remote press Menu , then using the arrow keys, select System Installation , Edit TP and press Ok
- Enter Password 0000 (or the Master Password 1269)
- You are going to change the TP frequency of the last 3 entries in the EDIT TP table to 12519; they currently are 12644, 12707 & 12644 respectively. Don’t change the first two, labelled 12483 & 12456 or you will lose your existing channels. Ignore any entries labelled New Carrier….. Using the arrow keys select the entry you are changing and press Ok. Overtype 12644 (or 12707) with 12519 and press Ok. (The yellow signal bar will show 100% as soon as you have entered 12519). The TUNING screen will appear after you pressed Ok and after about 25 seconds you will see a brief message “Service Not Collected” and the picture will return to normal TV. (Don’t press Exit while tuning is in progress or you will lose the channel associated with that entry)
- Repeat steps 1 to 3 until you have changed the last 3 entries in the EDIT TP table to 12519
- On your remote press Menu, then using the arrow keys, select Channel Manager, Edit Channel and press Ok
- Using the arrow keys and number keys on your remote, edit the EDIT CHANNEL table to the new settings shown in the list below. After changing each setting, press Ok to save it before moving to the next number in the table :

7. Press Exit on your remote twice to go back to normal TV and check that the 3 channels are working correctly (there will no longer be a moving banner advising of the changes every 30 minutes , if you have correctly completed the instructions)
