The warmer days and light nights are coming! We all have that annual or bi annual clean around the home to get ready for those BBQ's in Summer. With Winter having a final spin it's a great idea to ensure your television remains working with a few basic tweaks here is a quick little checklist to make sure Freeview remains working!

  • Look at your aerial or satellite dish: Does it look right e.g. is it moving rapidly or looks unsecured?
  • Are the cables into the aerial still screwed / plugged in?
  • Cabling that runs around your house into your TV are fasten or tightened.
  • Trees that are blocking a line of sight from your antenna to the transmission tower or Satellite.

Other signs to look out for is pixelation on the channels, sometimes it comes every few seconds or 20-40 sec bursts, usually the UHF or Satellite antenna  will need to realigned and tightened you can do this yourself or get an installer to do this.
