Hi, I have a DishTV S7090PVR whos HDD failed. I have tried two spare 120 & 250GB 2.5" HDD's from old laptops that I had cleanly formatted (tried both FAT32 & NTFS), however the DVR won't recognize them stating "No Media Found" (when I go into the Media>HDD menu) , or words to that effect (the drives are good & writable when connected to a PC). Is there any special process or formatting etc required to get a new HDD working with the PVR please? Any help greatly appreciated.

Good Morning Gary

The HDD Format is Fat32 for the current products, 500GB hard drives are used in these products so best to try one of those formatted to Fat32.

If you wish to let our team to look at it if all else fails, this will incur a service charge as you have voided warranty terms.

Have you tried connecting them to the USB ports for recording?

Kind Regards
