Wondering if anyone has come across this -

I have 2 Dish units in house 1 x S7090PVR and 1 x S7070.

I am having problems with S7070 I am randomly loosing audio/signal on this unit however if go and turn on S7090 PVR all tv is received fine.

That would indicate that the S7090 is powering the LNB.

On the S7090

Press the INFO button twice and note what the Signal Strength and Signal Quality values  are and post result here.

Try turning LPM in stand-by to OFF

  1. Menu
  2. Instalattion
  3. System Setting

Hi Paul ..I have tried what you have suggested and still not having any luck..  when watching tv I have broken sound quality and picture is freezing.  when I look at Quality it is ranging from 78% then drops to 0% and the same with Strength ..I have no idea to why this would be happening as I have never had any problems before.

Just tried again your suggestion and scanned again seems to have worked this time do you know why I would start having problems all of a sudden and do I have to make this adjustment every time I turn the tv on?

probably means the 7070 power supply if getting tired

Thanks sounds like will have to get tech in...beyond me to fix :-)
