Can't figure out how to organise channels. I am on the menu to organise it, but not sure how to move it from there. Need prime which is on 10 to move to 7. Anyone know how to do this.

Hi Taylor

What is the model number of the Transonic Freeview Box?

Regards, Josh

TWH-S1 .... BLAST missed Independence Day,  trying to figure this out, will have to stream it now

S/N 0211080851

I found this.... not my model, but similar set up... except I don't have yellow option to move channel.

Page 12...not my model  http://www.dishtv.co.nz/images/stories/User_Manuals/t2100_userguide...

Main Menu - Organiser Lock, Skip or Delete a channel

1. Go to Menu>Organiser on your remote

2. Access Channel Organiser and enter in the default PIN 0000

3. Select a channel you wish to set using the ▲▼ keys on the remote.

4. On your remote press the corresponding color: Red: Lock Channel To view the locked channel enter in your password.

Green: Skip Channel Will skip the channel when pressing the Channel + and - key to surf channels.

Yellow: Move Channel Moves the channel to another position. Blue: Delete Channel Deletes the channel from the list.

To delete all channels Press 1 on your remote Press OK to confirm the operation

Am on the phone to The Warehouse where I got my unit, and they are randomly putting me through to different stores, in the hope of finding someone who can help with my tv..... /sigh .... 0800 733 665.

URRRGHHHHH ..... The Warehouse just put me through to your "Tech Team" who is clueless on how to use the Channel Organizer.... The guy said he doesn't know what to do, and will call me back after he figures it out.

I have my booklet, but all it does is list the icons on the control, doesn't tell me how to move the channels around.

menu > Channel Manager > Channel Organizer >

My channels is like this....

00001 - channel 1

0002  - channel 2

0003 - channel 3

00004 - channel 4

00005 - channel Maori TV

0006 - channel Plus 1

0007 - channel Plus 2  etc /strong>

Its the Plus channels I want to swap around and put prime, choice, the edge tv etc in this position instead.

So I started all of this at 9:50am this morning calling the tech support at the warehouse.... Now 10:10am. Still waiting on a phone call from "Tech Support" ....
.... 10:16am ... still no call..... now 10:27am ....

The guy doesn't know what to do

Hi Taylor

You cannot swap Freeview channels around, this is because they are locked in which is called a "LCN" which is the term used to assign channel numbers to a TV platform.

Channel Organiser will not allow you to move these channels.

I hope this answers your question

Regards, Josh

Hi,

The Transonic TWH-S1 is a certified Freeview box and is required to follow the Freeview channel numbering.

Currently, there is no provision to change the channel numbers and even if we managed to do this, the automatic channel update will re-allocate the official channel numbers on the next update.

Not the answer you are seeking but hopefully this message will make the situation clearer.

Awww rats, was hoping to do this work around... not my model

ou will need to switch off LCN mode off from another part of the menu, to do this simply do the following:

  1. Go to Menu Settings System Settings > LCN  - Switch to OFF and save
  2. Go back to Channel Organiser, you can now move the channels to your preference.

Turning LCN back on will auto arrange the channels back to the Freeview allocations.

Hi Taylor,

That is the T2100 model which is not related to the TWH-S1,

Regards
Josh

That won't work. There is no provision to not follow LCN on the TWH-S1
