Is there any plans for freeview to start an IPTV service in the near future?  IPTV is a great way to get your products out to a lot of people and it seems to be the way ahead as far as broadcasting goes.  Personally i'd love to see a freeview IPTV service.  I know what etv offer live streams of freeview channels but i can't sign up to them as you need to be studying to receive access.

Please freeview nz, Start an IPTV service :)

Hi Dunc

There are no current plans for an IPTV service for Freeview,

The only way at the moment for you to stream TV Channels is to go on the broadcasters Website,

TVNZ are due to stream TVNZ 1, TVNZ 2  early next year with TVNZ Duke streaming now on TVNZ OnDemand.

TV3 and Bravo are already streaming.

We will keep you updated if IPTV is a Freeview possibility in the future.

Regards, Josh

TV3, Bravo, Duke, Al Jazeera, Parliament TV,  CTV Christchurch, Waiararpa TV, The Edge TV, Shine TV, Firstlight tv, TVSN are all available via streaming OFFICIAL streams.

With TV 1 and TV3 to come next year as Josh said.

but you don't have to go to their website to watch them you can load them onto any player that supports a .m3u playlist.
