This morning I have been having problems setting up recordings on Prime for next Sunday but get the error message "this programme cannot be booked at this time.  Please try again later. Code -2).  I do not have too many programmes recording, there is space on the hard drive.  What does this mean?  I have a panasonic hdd recorder.

Hi Susan

Try after 12pm and see if you can make a booking, as the guides get populated, Prime's data is actually a month advanced than the rest of the broadcasters through the Freeview System so may need to wait till the guides get populated throughout the day,

This is usually a problem with the EPG affecting the booking process which will eventually be corrected in EPG updates.

Use Timer Record instead until the problem is resolved. The EPG is only a guide and not always entirely accurate. Timer record always works.

Thanks, working now.  The other problem I have noticed is that when the red light blinks for a few minutes before recording starts, sometimes it never goes into record mode and unless I notice it I miss getting the program recorded.  Any thoughts?
