Hi,

I have re-tuned my Samsung Smart TV when Maori TV and Te Reo have moved (changed from SD to HD and to another channel). I receive Freeview via UHF arial.

I found the new channels (now in HD as TVNZ 1,2 and 3). The video is pixelated. Only when SD is broadcasted (Adds or older broadcast) the picture is OK.

I however don't have issues watching TVNZ 1,2 and 3.

What could be the cause of this? Can I change settings to make this better?

My Samsung UA32J5500ASXNZ 32 inch smart TV is two years old. Does this mean my TV can't handle "newer" HD Channels?

Hi there, we have been having issues with our Freeview HD since the changes on May 01. Now when we go to Maori TV and a few other channels, the set top box (Teac) gets stuck on the channel, displaying 'installing' in the top right hand corner of the TV screen. I've left it on the channel for up to an hour to see if it finishes installing but it doesn't.

While it is stuck , I can't change channels or turn the box off. The only way I can get it unstuck is to turn the freeview box off at the wall, and then while it is reloading quickly change the channel before it loads the channel it was on before it was turned off.

Is anyone else having this problem? We're in Chch. I would love to hear your ideas / suggestions on how to fix it as it's becoming a real drag.
